Happy New Year! 2013 is off to a fun start with a glitzy, glamorous cake design.
Tamara is retiring after 24 years with her company and the send-off party included this cake based on Tamara's love of bright and wild designs. This vanilla cake is accented with fondant pearls, flowers and feathers, and finished off with a crystal band around the edge.
Of course, the biggest accent is this silver shoe perched on the top. It's made from gumpaste and dusted with silver lustre dust and finished with real Swarovski crystals on the foot strap.
Pretty glamorous, indeed.
